WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) - apply your knowledge and experience of WebSphere Transformation Extender to architect, develop, implement, and monitor solutions that will be able to scale and exceed the business needs of
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Activities:
• Act as an internal consultant, providing architecture, vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving on an enterprise level.
• Remain continually aware of business, infrastructure, and technical issues to aid in development of innovative solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and transform existing team to become proficient with the use of WebSphere WTX products
• Lead and implement WebSphere WTX and related WebSphere tools in scalable solutions to meet and exceed business needs
Skillset Details:
• 5+ years experience delivering technology solutions in an architectural capacity. Architecture experience with significant depth around designing, implementing, and managing critical cross-functional application development and integration projects
• 5+ years experience in designing and developing complex projects that require the participation and collaboration of cross-functional entities, using WebSphere Transformation Extender
• Strong knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker and Queue Manager
• Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in a broad variety of integration techniques, patterns, tools and methodologies
• Thorough understanding of various application servers, including tuning, monitoring, load balancing, high-availability and clustering
• Ability to review specifications and architect data formats and standards
• Strong application performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in web services, ESB, SOA, distributed applications and interoperability
• Strong communication skills, written and oral; strong and proven interpersonal skills to include: resolve differences in a professional manner, lead working groups, negotiate, influence and create consensus
• Proven ability to collaborate and work horizontally throughout a complex organization including exposure across IT including, infrastructure, networking, security, data management, and application development
• Proven experience in working collaboratively, coordinating among cross-functional teams and the ability to effectively work with organizational differences and priorities; consistently provide a clear and consistent technical vision for the project
