Consultant responsibilities:

.NET/C# Architect Manager assists in creating the direction and scope for projects and is responsible for sustaining an environment that optimizes individual and team contributions in order to create value for a customer. You will manage the tracking and reporting on key solution delivery metrics. Identify needs and develop a solution or proposal to meet our business need. Enforce development standards and conduct code reviews and QA checks. As well as design and develop conceptual and logical application architectures. Work closely with the infrastructure systems engineers.

Skills: 7+ years as an architect/programmer. Demonstrate proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server 2000. .ASP.NET 5 yrs advanced development methodologies with Agile, Scrum, XP/Extreme programming, UML, RUP. Also experience of either BizTalk or SharePoint would a big plus. Full software development lifecycle experience developing large scale, scalable applications a must.

But when it comes to business networking, one site stands above the others: LinkedIn. In this article, I'm going to show you how to overhaul a LinkedIn profile and get it working for you.

I've said more than once that I don't do SEO for a living. I don't even do it consciously for the articles I write or edit for the Shed. Content comes first, right? I still believe that. Nevertheless, I'm about to engage in my first act of "real" SEO, right in front of you. Wish me luck; I have a feeling I'll need it.

When I started my research on this topic, I was surprised by how little I know. I probably shouldn't have been. LinkedIn has been around as a network since 2003; that's plenty of time to create a huge user base and a slew of features. There is even a semi-independent website, LinkedIntelligence.com, with a blog that covers the many different ways you can use the online business network (and sometimes criticizes LinkedIn when it misses the ball). When it called for suggestions on smart ways to use LinkedIn, it received a veritable avalanche.

LinkedIn has added new features gradually throughout its existence, but the pace of innovation has begun to pick up at the company in recent months. At the time of writing, its newest addition is company profiles. I hope to cover those later in this article – which incidentally, given the sheer volume of my information, may turn into a two-parter.

Right now, though, if you don't have a LinkedIn profile, or if (like me) you have a profile that has been sorely neglected, you might want to read along and take notes. My original inspiration came from Brian R. Brown's post entitled "LinkedIn: Your SEO card file," which appeared on CNet News Blogs. And then of course there was Guy Kawasaki's blog on his LinkedIn extreme makeover; he did it more than a year ago, but it still came up in my research, so he must have done something right.

· This position will be utilized in the creation of screens and enhancements to the existing portal site.

· This individual must possess solid skills in front in web presentation skills including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSP, AJAX, XML, and JAVA.

· Familiar with structured development methodologies

· Experience with entire life-cycle development of web platform using Vignette and performing enhancements to existing apps.

· RDBMS experience (prefer DB2, SQL Server, Oracle)

· Experience with portal products portal development - preferably Vignette Application Portal 7.3/7.6

· Strong Communication Skills

· Designed and developed custom Grids, Styles and Secondary Pages.

· Set up a Vignette development environment for development of new templates according to the business requirements.

· Designed and developed JSP overrides for the content publisher and Item publisher Portlets to customize the content presentation.

· Designed the Content Type Definitions and the Database schemas for the content of CMS applications in the Website.

· Created CTDs

· Designed and implemented Workflow Definitions for Website.

· Developed JSR 286 Port let for RSS Feed using spring frame work

· Managed Content from end to end.

· Migrated Content from Dev Environment to QA to Production

· Developing the Abstract Command Controller and Multi Action Controllers using Spring MVC Flow.

· Developed the Business Commands to interact with the database using DAO's and Spring Job Template Transactions in a DAO's.

· Defined and implemented the deployment procedure using ant scripts.

· Involved in fixing the bugs in the custom code.
