Description:	Important skills: Solid experience with Cognos Transformer (Cube technology), Framework Manager and Report Studio Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development, customization and deployment of Cognos 8 business intelligence reports. Analyzing business intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, producing a range of reports, and developing value-add BI solutions. Determining functional report and data warehouse requirements; and writing functional specifications and designs based on those requirements. Other various Cognos related activities as assigned. Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines. Solid understanding on Data warehouse concepts with complete DW lifecycle and data modeling experience. 5+ years of experience using Cognos suite of products (Framework Manager, Transformer, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, and Metric Studio) required. Must have at least 3 years of solid experience with the Cognos v8 suite. Excellent working knowledge with Oracle databases (10g required) Document applications/systems in order to define the technical processes that have been used to solve the client needs/business processes of an application or system. Cognos professional certifications are preferred, but not mandatory. Hands on working experience in the healthcare Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
