As announced earlier, the web interface for making your date sheet is being placed on the following link:
http://datesheet.vu.edu.pk/ 

Note: You MUST make your date sheet on or before:  Thursday, Nov 3, 2011. Seats will be available on a 'first come first served' basis.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Logon using your VULMS ID and Password 
   (In case of any password related problem contact at password@vu.edu.pk)
2. Choose Your Exam City in which you want to appear for Exam (optional)
3. Choose your Exam Center out of the centers available to you
   (Once selected, you can not change your Exam Center)
4. Select available exam date and start time of your own choice for each of your courses, then click "Confirm" button to confirm your selection.
5. Repeat the Step-4 for all your remaining courses one by one.
6. Finally click the button at the bottom of the page to get Examination Password and print your Examination Slip which you MUST keep with you for entry in Examination Center on each of the Exam Dates.

Dear Students,

To discuss and solve student�s project related issues, we have planned to open an interactive sessions with the students enrolled in CS619 in Fall 2011 semester. An online meeting is scheduled using Skype (chat application).

[discussion_vu] CS610_First_Quiz_Announcement

Dear student,

First QUIZ will be available on November 1, 2011. QUIZ will be from lectures 9 - 12. While attempting the quiz, consider the following instructions:

1. You have to attempt the quiz online.
2. You can start attempting the quiz any time within given date (November 1, 2011) of a Computer Networks by clicking the link for Quiz in VULMS.
3. Each question has a fixed time of 90 seconds. So you have to save your answer before 90 seconds. While attempting a question, keep an eye on the remaining time.
4. Attempting quiz is unidirectional. Once you move forward to the next question, you can not go back to the previous one. Therefore before moving to the next question, make sure that you have selected the best option.
5. DO NOT press Back Button / Backspace Button while attempting a question, otherwise you will lose that question.
6. DO NOT refresh the page unnecessarily, especially when following messages appear
• Saving...
• Question Timeout: Now loading next question...
7. JavaScript MUST be enabled in your browser; otherwise you will not be able to attempt the quiz.
8. If for any reason, you lose access to internet (like power failure or disconnection of internet), you will be able to attempt the quiz again from the question next to the last shown question. But remember that you have to complete the quiz before expiry of the deadline.
9. If any student failed to attempt the quiz in given time then no re-take or offline quiz will held.
