Facets Configuration / Benefits - Business Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6 - 9 months

Interview: Phone only

Client: Confidential

Claim and Product Defect Resolution Specialist- Will analyze claims and defect details, and compare results against Product configuration to determine if Products are configured correctly. If not, determining what configuration changes are needed to the resolve defect. If yes, determine if the defect is the result of functionality not supported by Facets. If functionality is not supported by Facets, determine what Custom solution needs to be put in place to provide required functionality.

Requirements (Primary):

· Defect resolution and Application Support – Benefits and Claims

· Write queries using MS Access and SQL

· Complex FACETS Table Batch Reporting

· Batch Reports on Plan ID's

· Write complex back end queries in FACETS data tables

· Resolve any defect in the Facets tables in claims and benefits

· Facets Configuration and Benefits Analysis

· 3-6 years of direct FACETS Configuration experience

· 2 years of hands on Product build and benefits experience

· Demonstrated knowledge of Facets, commercial medical and Medicare benefits and can run queries.

· Facets troubleshooting experience

· Claims Analysis background

Requirements:

· Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or relevant work experience in business analysis, systems analysis and/or testing background.

· 3-6 years of direct Facets Configuration experience.

PROGRAM PUTOVANJA AUTOBUSOM: 18.02. / 19.02.2012.

1. DAN / subota (KASTAV - ZVONČARSKA SMOTRA – MATULJI – SELCE – FEŠTA U CRIKVENICI):
Polazak u 08:00 h iz Zagreba, s Autobusnog kolodvora (peron 502-506). Vožnja preko Karlovca i dalje kroz Gorski kotar do gradića KASTVA. Obilazak zanimljivosti i gradskih zidina ovog slikovitog gradića uz vodiča, uživanje u prekrasnom pogledu na Kvarner i kvarnerske otoke. Nastavak vožnje do MATULJA, mjesta u kvarnerskom zaleđu gdje ćemo na „pusnu subotu“ prisustvovati tradicionalnoj ZVONČARSKOJ SMOTRI, poznatom okupljanju zvončarskih skupina iz mjesta s područja Kastavštine. Buka zvona, miris ovčje kože, šarenilo cvijeća na šeširima – na trenutak ćete povjerovati da će zima zaista sutra nestati i ustupiti mjesto proljeću. Slobodno vrijeme za šetnju mjestom, ručak, zabavu na organiziranom programu s glazbom. U poslijepodnevnim satima odlazak autobusom do SELCA - smještaj u hotel Marina 4* (www.hotel-marina.net) - slobodno vrijeme za korištenje unutarnjeg hotelskog bazena, fitnessa, masaža. Večera u hotelu. Nakon večere, odlazak autobusom do CRIKVENICE na veliku maškaranu feštu pod šatorom (4.000 ljudi) sa kompletnim programom i živom glazbom uz Marijana Bana.

Povratak u hotel u kasnim večernjim satima.

2. DAN / nedjelja (RIJEKA – MEĐUNARODNA KARNEVALSKA POVORKA):
Doručak. Slobodno jutro za šetnju, kavu ili korištenje hotelskog bazena i fitnessa. Oko 10.30 sati – vožnja autobusom do RIJEKE. Slobodno vrijeme za prisustvo na poznatom RIJEČKOM KARNEVALU – VELIKOJ MEĐUNARODNOJ KARNEVALSKOJ POVORCI. Povorka broji preko deset tisuća sudionika iz desetak zemalja svijeta i predstavlja jednu od najznačajnijih karnevalskih manifestacija u Europi. U kasnijim poslijepodnevnim satima (oko 17.00 sati) polazak prema Zagrebu. Dolazak u Zagreb u večernjim satima.

Recent and extensive Data Warehousing experience are the keys to this position. It is a 6 month contract initially but will probably go much longer.

Job Description:

Information Management Analytical Services has a need for a Business Analyst to assit with the migration effort to move off of the legacy Corporate Data Warehouse and to the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The BA will be working with various business customer to identify business requirements and document the requirements for technical migration to EDW specifically around the Business Intelligence and reporting. Other Responsibilities will include:

• Build and leverage effective alliances across the technical and business communities.

• Assess upstream application projects to determine data warehouse impacts and initiate estimation effort by documenting high level requirements, impacts, and assumptions in the estimation overview document.

• Elicit business and functional requirements from the business group through formal interviews or facilitated sessions. Includes:

o Reviewing existing project documentation

o Determining impacted business users

o Preparing interview materials

o Scheduling interviews/sessions

o Facilitating interviews

• Document requirements in concise, easy to understand documentation, following established standards and templates.

• Assist in the process of developing information or data requirements.

• Assist Project Manager in defining the business scope of the project

• Gain signoff on the finalized requirements from business users and project team members

o Prepare appropriate level presentations to use during review and signoff sessions.

• Ensure all agreed upon in scope requirements are incorporated in the final solution by completing business requirements traceability.

Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 1. 6-10 Years of business analysis experience with 3 OR more in a Data Warehouse environment. 2. Good understanding of data warehouse operations AND business intelligence 3. Some level of experience with BI reporting, ie. with Business Objects OR Crystal Reports
