DESCRIPTION: This position will act as a web hosting system engineer for the GTI CIS Web Implementation team. Responsibilities include the design, installation, configuration and integration of web platform software to host complex applications in UNIX and Windows environments. Dear brothers and sisters,

As a true finder, I would like to have replays for the below coats from Hijri Committee of India.

From that what I understand that seeing the hillal on 29^th is not a practice of Prophet Sallalaahu alaihi wa sallam and the Sahaba Raliyallahu Anhu. Because they came to know the total number of days in the particular month at least 10 days before the end of the month!!!???

"Islam is Simple, Prefect and Complete. Islam requires one to observe all the phases of the month and after a few months of practice, one can easily say, in the first quarter itself, whether the current month is of 29 days or 30 days. Bedouins of Saudi Arabia are still doing this and those who have doctorate are groping in the dark for the INVISIBLE hilaal on the last day of the month. What a pity !!

The Prophet (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) and the Sahaba (RA) were proficient in such predictions. If not how they (RA) observed the I'thikaf exactly for 10 LAST days?

One can calculate the LAST 10 days only when one knew about the end day of the month, is it not?

Without knowing whether the month ends on 29th or 30 th, if one starts I'thikaf on 20th day of Ramdhaan and if it happens to be a month of 30 days, one would have observed it for 11 days !! If one starts on 21st day of Ramdhaan and if it happens to be a month of 29 days, one will observe it just for 9 days !!

Is there any hadeeths, even a Daef one, which says that the Prophet (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) ever observed I'thikaf for 9 days or 11 days ??? Is there any reports which say that the Sahaba (RA) observed it for 9 days or 11 days because they found out about the the start of Shawwal after seeing the hilaal ???

If so please provide them.

If no hadeeth is there, tell us how the Prophet (Sallalaahu alaihi wa sallam) and the Sahaba (RA) observed I'thikaf EXACTLY for last 10 days. "
