Sys Admin Linux admin Roles and Responsibilities Linux Server Management at Enterprise level. Experienced in Virtual Server provisioning and management. Linux Cluster configuration, FS creation, Server Build creation, RPM management. Experienced on Debian (Etch, Sarge, Lenny) and Redhat 6.2 and 6.3, CentOS 6.2, VM Ware, Nagios, Splunk, Apache 2, Tomcat, Bind, Tinydns, Dnscache, DaemonTools, Djbdns. Collaborate with offshore team for client deliverables. Creating cobbler kick start scripts for building bare bone red hat Linux machine. Creation of YUM repositories. Provisioning of build machines to compile code Raise. Analyze and prepare production configuration files that needs to go into puppet tool and include them in QA puppet branch Deploy server to datacenters and verify connectivity. Verify system configuration and update DNS servers as required. Collaborate with release team and help them deploy latest code branches to the newly provisioned machines. Redhat certified administrator. ITIL v3 certified.

Self-motivated with very good communication, Excellent client interfacing and analytical skills. Should be able to work effectively with India based offshore teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence experience.

Advanced knowledge and deep experience in the design of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence architectures and data integration solutions.

Advanced knowledge of data warehousing/business intelligence best practices and standards. The ability to assess business requirements, develop technical specifications and design appropriate Data Warehouse / BI solutions.

• Knowledge of data modeling tools and a solid understanding of dimensional data modeling techniques and principals. Must be able to prepare complex data models, including logical/relational models and dimensional models. Demonstrated ability to understand and model solutions to meet complex data and BI requirements.

• An expert knowledge in one of two areas: 1) ETL and business intelligence tools is required, including experience designing and developing Informatica PowerCenter mappings, sessions, and workflows or

2) OBIEE .rpd development.

• Excellent interviewing and listening skills. Strong facilitation and organizational skills. The ability to assess business requirements, develop technical specifications, and design appropriate Data Warehouse/BI solutions. Proficient with SQL and SQL tools. Proven process design skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external groups at all levels of management. Good negotiation and influencing skills. Very good written and oral communication skills. Ability to provide documentation to present complex concepts with clarity and understanding for audiences at a variety of skill levels.

• Strong analytical and design skills. Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

Education/Training:

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training

Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Analyst

Our client is in need of a Senior Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Analyst to assist with the stabilization and upgrade of their EBS environment. They are upgrading from R12 to 12.1.3. This person should have a mix of approximately 75% technical skills (particularly PL/SQL programming), and 25% functional EBS skills.

This project is just starting (it's in the virtualization stage) and they are expecting to go-live in November or December. This assignment should last until the end of the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will need to fill three key niches:
1) Work with internal customers to analyze and identify business process and system issues and enhancements for Production environments.
2) Gather requirements and develop systems to required business specifications, as part of special projects.
3) Serve as a technical subject matter expert in Oracle eBusiness Suite technologies.
