Position: BA/Guidewire experience.

The Conversion Business Systems Analyst will perform analysis, design, and testing activities necessary to convert data from legacy applications into the Guidewire applications.
Key activities include:
Participate in discovery meetings to gather documentation related to business processes, functional requirements and workflows
Provide technical diagrams, artifacts, mockups, etc., to accompany business requirement documents. Assist programmers in developing UML diagrams, prototypes and pseudo code
Manage and track changes to system requirements throughout the development, testing and maintenance lifecycle, maintaining accurate documentation at all times.
Maintain continuous communication with end user and developers throughout development and testing lifecycle to ensure final product meets requirements and expected outcomes of the customer, to include both functionality and interface.
Assist Quality Assurance team in developing and executing test plan and scripts. Assist in development of end-user manuals and instructional documentation. Develop data pulls using Structured Query Language (SQL)
Work with reporting team to define specific data analysis equations for reporting purposes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience developing data pulls using Structured Query Language (SQL). Data analysis and data mapping and data flow diagramming experience. Data Conversion experience in a large project effort.
Two years of documented and verifiable experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role inclusive of writing system requirements.
PREFERRED:
Data conversion experience in the insurance industry.
Data cleansing, data transformation and data matching experience.
Data loading experience with tool-based (ex. ETL or EAI) and native data loaders. Experience with Guidewire applications and data structures.
Knowledge of Insurance industry business practices. Experience with Insurance applications.
