Description :

This seasoned, professional position works within the development team
to deliver framework solutions based on current technologies through all
phases of the software development cycle.

As a Sr. Web Application Framework Engineer, you are responsible for the
analysis, design, and implementation of the enterprise UI framework.

The Senior Web Application Framework Engineer will work with User
Experience, Development Managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations
teams to develop innovative solutions that meet company initiatives with
respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability,
realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals
and principles. Specific responsibilities include:

• Contribute to framework document reviews, and design/code reviews.

• Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and
testing • Ensure artifacts (documentation, code, etc.) are stored in
proper repositories and versioned appropriately • Incorporate
Architectural Standards into application design specifications.

• Generating supporting unit tests as well as system test
specifications and implementations.

• Validating appropriate acceptance criteria for deliverables •
Developing implementation and troubleshooting guides.

• Working independently with some day-to-day instruction and general
direction for new assignments.

• Interacting closely with other teams to verify and clarify
requirements and design decisions.

• Mentoring teams as needed on framework designs • Creating
components and solutions that are re-usable and flexible • Developing
frameworks that are easily integrated with both new and existing system
architectures • Reconciling input and feedback from multiple sources
into one consistent design

Position: SSRS/SSIS Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: Long Term Contract

My client need a SSRS/SSIS developer on a contract basis. You will work closely with a team of SSRS report developers and SSIS ETL developers to design and implement critical reports and data automation processes, using the Microsoft suite of SQL Server products. This position will be development of SQL-based reports and building Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes to support enterprise wide projects. He/she will also perform T-SQL ad-hoc data analysis and QA, and create SQL stored procedures and user-defined functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with business users to clarify reporting requirements and business rules.

· Design, develop, implement, and validate SSRS reports for business users.

· Assist in validating ETL processes (stored procedures and SSIS packages).

· Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements.

· Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune SQL and related ETL processes.

· Document all SSRS reporting-related work per client's methodology.

· Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed.

· Collaborate with various functional business units to gather reporting requirements.

· Conduct data analysis; identify issues and recommend and implement solutions.

· Create ad-hoc and automated reporting solutions.

SKILL

· Previous healthcare experience is a MUST

· Strong experience with Microsoft SSRS and SSIS.

· Some experience developing an ETL lifecycle to support enterprise-wide data processing projects (i.e., Enterprise Data Warehouse).

· Strong database-related development skills (complex SQL queries, complex store procedures and user-defined functions in SQL Server 2005 and 2008).

· Experience in data analysis, data modeling and data mart design.

· Ability to synthesize data from various sources and perform various types of data analysis.

· Familiarity with standard regulatory reporting requirements such as HEDIS measures.

· Familiarity with industry standard health data code sets such as ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, and NDC (Pharmacy).

· Solid analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement.

· Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.

EDUCATION

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

· 3+Years of SQL Server 2005/2008 experience.

· 3+Years of report development using SSRS and 3+Years of ETL development, including SSIS.

· 3+Years of proven ability to interpret data in order to locate anomalies and recommending corrections plans.

· 3+Years of advanced SQL skills (SQL Server 2005).
