Position: Java Architect

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 1 Year

Web SA and Application/ Technical Architect activities and deliverables

Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering team members

Work with clients and engineering team members across the organization to accomplish objectives

Use a consultative approach to understand business and technical requirements to help teams across varied groups develop and refine technical strategy and solution

Design and implement technical infrastructure solutions

Qualifications:

10+ years of professional software development experience including designing and implementing large distributed Java based enterprise applications that are scalable, reliable and highly-available

Strong OO design skills, understanding of enterprise software design patterns and data structures

Experience with server-side architectures and web application development utilizing Spring, Hibernate, Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP, Service Oriented Architecture

Java and related web application engineering skills to include JSPs, Servlets, JDBC, HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSF, App Servers, Web Servers, Databases, Web Services and Development tools (Git, Maven, Eclipse)

Good knowledge of database concepts and technologies

Ability to work on multiple projects and be able to change direction quickly based on business drivers

Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills

Comfortable performing many roles such as Architect, Developer, Manager

Ability to influence technologists with respect to technology direction

BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields and/or equivalent experience

Job Title: SAS Admin

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

* SAS adminitrator role

* Secure the SAS configuration on each server machine

• Check status and operate servers

• Monitor server activity and administer logging

• Establish formal, regularly scheduled backup processes

• Add users and manage their access

• Establish connectivity to data sources

• Set up and secure metadata folder structures

• Administer repositories and move metadata

*Have a working knowledge of the Base SAS language: Data Step, Procedures, SQL and SAS Macros

• Know the SAS toolset(s) used in the organization, most commonly: SAS Display Manager and Enterprise

Guide

• Have an investigative mind to be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise

• Strong knowledge of the operating system(s) that SAS is installed on, such as memory management, file

system architecture, CPU utilization etc

• Be adept in the use of the SAS support website (http://support.sas.com) and SAS documentation for installation setup and troubleshooting

• Understand how to apply hot fixes, patches, service packs and do version upgrades
