Title: SAP Basis Consultant
Location: Morton, IL
Length: 1 Year+
Summary: SAP Basis position responsible for working with an established technical team maintaining and providing support for all systems in our complex SAP landscape. Responsibilities will include but not limited to providing issue resolution through a support inbox, system monitoring, system copies, OSS note installations, upgrades and support pack implementations.
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. The candidate must have a deep technical expertise in SAP Basis and system administration. Must have at least 5 years of overall experience in working with SAP Basis in large organizations.
Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, experience with Oracle, ABAP, networking and system administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple technical and business teams is a must. Able to work with a team and follow established processes. Knowledge of Sarbanes - Oxley procedures and their implications to SAP change management procedures is preferred.
