SharePoint Developer/Administrator

Job Summary: The primary objective of this position is to help design, develop and support Schilling Robotics SharePoint 2010 infrastructure for Intranet, Extranet and Internet scenarios. The developer designs, encodes, test, debugs, installs and maintains systems. This position is also required to work on diverse problems, where analysis of situations or data requires consideration of various factors to select methods and techniques for obtaining results. Demonstrates knowledge in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedure standards. Functions at an advanced level in .NET framework and ASP.NET programming methodologies. Under general direction, responsible for activities related to system administration for SharePoint 2010. The resource is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and integrity of platform, as well as, implementing operational system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. This individual will be responsible for the daily administration of an enterprise SharePoint environment and assisting in the implementation of SharePoint 2010. Basic project management functions are required, including defining task, resource estimation, status reporting, and project plan maintenance.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 1-3 years related field experience
Training/Experience:
· Experience with design, deployment, administration and support of Microsoft SharePoint.
· Proven information architecture skills specifically related to SharePoint 2007/2010 data capabilities, along with a thorough understanding of the inter-relationships among content types, shared columns, search, navigation, information management policies, governance and other data-related facets of an enterprise SharePoint implementation
· Advanced skill set in web development using SharePoint 2010 application and infrastructure components.
· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft .NET development technologies, including Visual Studio 2008 and 2010, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, LINQ, WCF, Silverlight, AJAX, CAML, XML, XSLT and DOM
· Proficiency with SharePoint Server 2007/2010, including custom Web part development, business connectivity services development, custom field types, event development, and site definitions and features
· Experience developing applications for SharePoint Server 2007/2010, including custom workflows, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath Forms
· Experience with administering and developing for SQL Server 2008 R2, including Analysis, Integration and Reporting Services
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise technologies including Active Directory and Exchange.
· Strong understanding of Network principles (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, VPN, Wireless)
· Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions
· Ability to lead users through discovery and fully define the data that is available, assisting them in targeting what and how they need to visualize that data
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
· Disciplined, self-motivated work ethic
