Technical Analyst / Delivery Services

 Required Skills:  SharePoint Administration, SharePoint Tecnhical Skills

 Responsibilities depend on the IT Service that the Technical Analyst belongs to

 

Delivery Service Responsibilities:

  • Performs and delivers the IT service with which she or he is associated
  • Formulates and defines scope and objectives pertaining to the IT service
  • Prepares technical deliverables and/or provides input to other deliverables related to the IT service
  • Technical expert in one or more defined IT service
  • Provides technical consulting on complex projects
  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary
  • Devises or modifies procedures to resolve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

 

Support Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks of the service desk processes
  • Documents and updates the product knowledge base along with common support scenarios
  • Responsible for the initial processing of inquiries, incidents and other forms of service requests
  • Responsible for ensuring incidents are properly recorded, classified, and given initial support
  • Responsible for resolving incidents utilizing the support knowledge base and in accord with the agreed upon service levels
  • Responsible for assigning and routing incidents that have not been resolved by initial support
  • Responsible to oversee the progress and escalation of incidents in accordance with service targets
  • Recognizes similar recurring incidents that may be attributable to an underlying problem.
  • Provides updates to affected parties throughout the life of an incident
  • Confirms, with the initiator, the satisfactory resolution of an incident prior to closing the incident record

 

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Operates / administers solution in accordance with approved procedures and service levels
  • Receives approved changes from the designated change authority (e.g. CCB, CAB)
  • Implements / coordinates operating environment change in accordance with applicable procedures and approved change schedule
  • Provides feedback and reports on any problems to the change authority
