Title: Data Warehouse Data Architect

Location: Southfield, Michigan

Duration: long term/ 3 months Contract to hire

 

Detailed specifications as follows:

 

Project Arch Key requirements:

•       In addition to the Solutions architecture role the candidate will also be performing a Data Architect role for a Data Warehouse project

•       Role requires both the ability to provide technical oversight and leadership to development teams as well as being hands-on and applying creative thinking and quick Solutioning.

•       Experience in the implementation of at least 2 data warehouses end to end with very strong data modeling skills.

•       Solid understanding and familiarity with Data Warehouse technologies such as ETL, reporting and modeling.

•       Expert knowledge of building and supporting Enterprise Information Management systems and complex global Data Warehouse capabilities in a global organization.

•       Expert knowledge in IBM Banking Data Model (Must).

•       Knowledge on any COTS data model will be a plus.

•       Clear understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and respective experience with its application in design and development phases. 

•       Candidate is expected to collaborate with peers, meet deadlines assigned, create and gain approval of SDP Architecture documentation with little guidance, and align not only with the project team but the TSS Architecture organization as well

•       Technical application architecture experience for software development.

•       Collaborate on technical approaches for project development.

•       Support the creation of detailed technical designs.

•       Experience with leading triage and the resolution of technical issues involving coordination of diverse teams as they arise.

•       Extensive technology knowledge and recognized expertise in several areas. Our current environment includes Oracle, DataStage, Cognos, and WebLogic.

•       7-10+ years of database development, data modeling, and Data Warehouse experience including implementation of enterprise solutions.

•       Assist with Performance Testing and Deployment
