As a Silverlight developer, you will:
Design end user interface based on Silverlight.
Develop Silverlight code, unit tests and work with the test team towards resolving bugs
Follow procedures for coding conventions and documentation
Participate in daily/weekly project team meetings
Occasionally contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem.
Qualifications
Must Have:
· 2+ years’ experience with Silverlight technologies in an enterprise environment
· 5+ years’ experience with C# is a must
· Web Development and Web Services (ASP.NET, WPF, Expression Blend, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, AJAX)
· Should be able to independently design solutions and should be a quick learner in a new technical domain
· Specific expertise in the UI, in addition to experience in the middle-tier and data layers
· Great creative skills, working with cutting edge technologies to completely change the way we develop/design UI and customer experiences
· Strong passion about online technology, web designing and customer experience
· Strong passion for innovation/invention and creating prototypes
· Experience with Agile practices, methodology & ability to work in a fast-paced environment that includes an aggressive release schedule
· Attention to detail, strong problem solving, debugging, trouble shooting skills, deals with ambiguity, proactive & self-motivated
· Ability to work closely and collaborate independently across a feature team
· Excellent organizational, communication both written and verbal, and motivational skills
· Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
· Experience with following or applying engineering excellence best practices
The following development skills are a definite plus:
· 3+ years’ experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 T-SQL programming
· Experience implementing the MVVM design pattern
