PeopleSoft Financial Tech Lead
This position is a Technical Lead for the PeopleSoft Financials team that works to develop quality technical deliverables and business solutions. Under minimal supervision, analyzes requirements, develops solutions, and administers the PeopleSoft Financials application. Along with the Business Analyst, consults with business unit management and personnel to gather business requirements about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements for the application.
* Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware an operating systems environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external check and controls and outputs.
* Writes and maintains technical specifications.
* Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
* Designs and codes screen layouts, workflows, graphical user interfaces, report and interfaces with other systems.
* Coverts design specification into computer code or application configuration.
* Executes unit and system testing and works directly with business unit to support UAT.
* Consistently monitors performance of application.
* Provides technical leadership to team and department members.
* Leads through example. Mentors and influences others.
* Effectively works with peers, team members, and other departments.
* Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or questions about programs.
* Analyzes system problems to find root causes of error and revises environment appropriately.
* Participates on the upgrade team and keeps abreast of new versions to assess trends and to guide the team through smooth implementations.
* Participates on cross functional application teams as needed providing guidance and insight.
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Minimum of 8 year of technical hands on experience and expertise in the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Purchasing, Cash/Deal Management, Fixed Assets and Expense.
*Hands-on implementation experience with the following PS modules (A/R, Billings, and Contracts) AR/Billing implementation experience required
* Expertise with technical programming skills in PeopleTools and PeopleCode
