Knowledge/skills in XAML, Silverlight, and Microsoft Expression Studio a plus.
Client is currently seeking a creative, driven, and experienced UX Designer who is passionate about user centered design, interaction design, and turning customer data into beautiful solutions. You will help research, design, and prototype product experiences that meet demanding quality standards, and you will drive and manage your work through the software development process.
The successful UX candidate has the ability to solve difficult UX problems. You work closely with the UX Architect, UX Practitioners and UI Developers. Additional responsibilities include helping to define the UX vision, brand strategy, solution innovation, and prototyping.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of industry experience with visual problem solving as a web, interactive, software or product designer.
* Exceptional understanding of fundamental design principles (typography, layout, grid systems, hierarchy, color, composition).
* Experience in developing and communicating visual specifications.
* User-focused thinker who can pro-actively communicate and lead in creative, business, and technical discussions.
* Strong work practices and design discipline.
* Proven record of delivering innovative solutions on time for demanding and complex visual problems.
* Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work in a team environment that is fast-paced with multiple projects.
* Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
* Degree in Interactive Design or related visual field.
