Hi,

 

Client is looking for Application DBA – Data Warehousing in Simi valley, CA. This is a 6+ months contract.. in-person interview maybe required. Locals preferred.

 

Qualifications

 

• Direct experience involved in supporting large-scaled Data Warehouse implementations
• In-depth and hands-on experience as a DBA working with Oracle 11G and/or IBM DB2
• Exceptional working knowledge in PL/SQL Tuning and SQL Tuning
• Must be able to clearly describe Database Performance Tuning methodology, approach, tools and process to a team of OBIEE developers
• Experience working in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments
• Experience working across project teams
• Expertise in Logical & physical database modeling
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting of data warehouse performance issues
• Strong and proven experience on SQL development
• Ability to research on latest database technologies
• Capable of managing responsibilities independently
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• 4 year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. 
• Master's degree preferred.
