Our client is looking for a Test Data and Test Environment Manager for a 17 month contract.
Work closely with the database and environment teams while defining and implementing the test data strategy and Test Environment Management strategy.
• Detailed involvement with the test manager and technical team planning to ensure a big picture understanding of Master data requirements and end-to-end flow of
transactional data in order to orchestrate test data setup for test cycles
• Detailed involvement with the test manager and technical team in planning to ensure a big picture test environment management plan and process is complete to
support all test cycles,
• Plan for building test data into QA test environment either manually or via an automated tool
• As master data loads become available, test data will be selected to accurately replicate a production-like environment and facilitate cross-team processing •
Maintain test data among multiple non-prod environments
• Utilizes HP's Quality Center
• Manage Tools used for *test data inquiry, manipulation, updating,
• validation, obfuscation
• Test data mining – test case specific data
• Assist in *data coverage* to meet testing requirements
• Ensure test data reflects production data as required –including maintaining relational integrity
• Avoid data collisions – Test Environment, Test Data sharing , Test data aging
• Re use of data sets for *regression ,performance and user testing
• Test data refresh and purge.
• Lead efforts to develop test environment requirements for various projects for the client
• Develop a detailed test environment management schedule to manage and control multiple baselines in the client's test environment.
• Manage, coordinate, and control baselining and off-cycle releases of components and modules (test data, application components, database schemas) into the
client's test environment.
