Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
8 Data architect, Data Warehouse architect
8 Data warehouse design and implementation
8 Data modeling (relational and dimensional)
8 ETL, Data Replication technologies
8 Data Profiling/Data Validation tools
8 Relational databases: DB2, MS SQL Server, Teradata and/or Oracle
8 Demonstrated ability to design and code superior technical
solutions, create and execute well designed and reusable objects,
efficient and logical databases for clients, project work plans,
revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
8 Demonstrated ability to communicate and enforce best practice
coding standards, consistently deliver high-quality services to
clients on schedule, communicate difficult/sensitive information
appropriately to all personnel, regardless of their role, understand
and communicate to clients the benefits of complex database concepts
as well as the implications of different database designs, and
effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative
business solutions with project management.
7 Requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and implementation
of complex data warehouse projects on time and within budget.
7 Demonstrated ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally,
with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including team members, all
levels of management, external contacts/the public, vendors,
government officials, end users.
5 Agile development
5 XML, Web Services, SOA
5 Business Intelligence and reporting tools
5 MSMQ and/or MQ Series
5 High volume architecture, hardware and software technologies for
load balancing
