need for a UNIX/Linux system administrator familiar with RedHat/CentOS, VMware, and support for managing the installation/maintenance of third party products (e.g., SAS clients). A demonstrated proactive nature and willingness to ramp up on advanced administrative situations (custom AWK scripts, SAMBA/NAS mapping, high speed disk array installation etc.) is a must. The person must be in San Jose and be willing to work in an office, but many clients will be distributed throughout the world.
