[discussion_vu] Spirit of the May Day is virtually the spirit of democracy of the un-Islamists which is nothing but a spirit of ‘no-religion’ to the Muslims

Allah Pak Dictates, "Fear Allah and do not follow the kaafirs and
mushriqs". Spirit of the May Day is virtually the spirit of democracy
of the un-Islamists which is nothing but a spirit of 'no-religion' to
the Muslims. Fourteen hundred years ago, the interest of the workers
was completely preserved in Islam. The widely known 'May Day'
originated by the jews and christians, is only about 122 years old
which failed to ensure the protection of the workers' interests nor
could it offer them any appropriate status. May Day has otherwise
degraded he workers as 'lower class' elements. The government should
cancel the official day-off on this day and instead arrange to have
day-offs on days of Islamic values."

Prime Point of Allah's attention, Imam and Mujtahid of the age,
Imaamul Aimmah, Qutwubul A'alam, Awladur Rwasool, Habeebullah and
Mamduh Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee of Rajarbagh Dorbar
Shareef, Dhaka, said, "Only Islam had protected the interest of the
workers and provided them with due status fourteen hundred years ago.
On the other hand, 'May Day' or the 'Workers' Day' could not ensure
the protection of the workers' interests nor could it offer them any
appropriate status."

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
'About the toils of the labourers, Allah Pak Declares in Qur'an
Shareef, "Verily, We have created people in toil" (Sura Al-Balad, Ayat
Shareef 4).

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
"According to Islamic rules, no one can employ any farmer, worker or a
day-labourer without due wages. Saiyidul Mursaalin, Imaamul Mursaalin,
Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam forbade through Hadis Shareef
not to employ any worker before fixing his wages." (Baihaqi).

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
'Regarding paying the workers, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam
clearly Dictated, "Pay the worker before his sweats dry up." (Ibn
Mazah).

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
"Qur'an Shareef and Sunnah Shareef are good enough references for the
rules and instructions regarding the interest of the workers'. Muslims
do not need to borrow from others regarding this. Yet if something is
to be said about this May Day, then one must mention that, through
'May Day' or the 'Workers' Day', the workers have been otherwise
disgraced because it brings home an idea that they are a separate
class or a lower class. But in Islam, the position of a sweeper or
that of an Emperor is same; the way a sweeper is a worker, similarly a
king or an Emperor is a worker too since both of them do provide
labour. But one who is more Allah-fearing, is more devoted, does more
practices and has more loyalty (toward Allah Pak), shall be graded
accordingly with higher dignity and status."

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee,
referring the background of the May Day, says, "It was 1880 or even
before. Owners of the mills and industries immensely bugged their
workers but did not pay them accordingly. They were treated inhumanly.
Workers often went for strikes for these. This tempo rose in around
1886. Workers frequently called for strikes, sometimes for some
consecutive days. On one such day, a strike was called coincidentally
on the 1st of May 1886. On the 4th of the same month, a peaceful
procession was out in the city of Chicago. When it reached a place
called 'Haymarket Square', someone hurled a bomb on the police
standing nearby. Scuffles broke out and rapid chaos grew up. Police
began firing and few casualties took place. Thus, this incident made
its place in the history as 'May Day'."

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said, "In
a second Global Convention of the Labourers, held in Paris on 14 July,
1889, it was decided for the first time to celebrate the 1st of May as
an international day. Since then, this is being formally observed as a
'Historical Day' throughout the world to realize the rights of the
workers. It is worth mentioning that, right after the day is passed,
their responsibilities toward the workers and significance of the day
are totally forgotten. That's a proven reality today."

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
"Sad but true that along with others, Muslims also discuss the same
history of this day and express a similar notion. But they have
separate traditions, ideals and values. These 'May Day' formalities
have virtually no meaning in Islamic senses.

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
"May Day spirit in relation to the interests of the workers dates back
only about 122 years. Yet it would be grossly wrong to conclude that
workers' interests have been completely protected after the May Day
declarations. But much before that, 1400 years ago, it was completely
ensured in Islam. Labourers were recognized as the brothers of the
lords. Declarations were made that all Muslims are like brothers. In
addition, the owners were warned by the words that, "All are
protectors; all shall be asked of the affairs under their
custody." (Bukhari Shareef).

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said,
"Incidents and spirits of May Day is nothing to the dignity and
interest of the workers as given in Islam. May Day spirit is virtually
the democratic concepts of the un-Islamists which is nothing but 'no-
religion' to the Muslims. Therefore, the May Day spirit might be
something to the derailed and incomplete un-Islamists but to the
Muslims, it is irrelevant and unnecessary. Rather that's un-permitted
since it follows the non-Islamic customs. Hadis Shareef says, "One who
keeps in touch with certain community, shall be disposed off along
with that community."

Mujaddide A'azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A'alee said, "An
official day-off on May Day is just useless while we do not have days-
off on days with Islamic spirit and inspirations. There is no
arrangement for day-off on important days like Akhiri Chahar Shomba,
Fatiha-i-Eazdaham, Mira'az Shareef, Lailatur Rwaghaib and 1st and 6th
of Rajab etc. These days are of immense blessings and prosperity for
the Muslims. The government should arrange for days-off on such
significant Islamic spirited days instead of those meaningless un-
Islamic days."
