Face to Face Interview after Telephonic Interview

Location: Madison, WI. 

6 month plus contract

Rates: $50/hr Corp-Corp

 Candidate will be integrating existing applications with an existing build environment.  Additionally, the candidate will be utilize existing services to generate scheduled and on demand builds, deployments, and tests.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

·         Standardize builds and deployments of existing Java codebase to utilize:

·         Subversion

·         Ant

·         Maven

·         Hudson

·         Create automated builds and deployments for a development JBOSS platform.

·         Create SOAP UI tests to be executed in both scheduled, and on demand methods.

·         Document and train existing staff in utilizing the build, deploy and test framework.

 

Required Qualifications - Technical:

·         J2EE - JBOSS

·        Subversion

·        ANT 1.6

·         JBoss 4.2

·         Maven

·         Hudson

·         SOAP UI

 

Desired Qualifications - Technical:

·         Oracle 10g and 11g

·         Struts, Spring and JSP

·         Hibernate 3.x and JMS

·         J2EE 1.5

·         J2SE 1.6       ( Sun Certified a Plus)

·         Design Patterns

·         SOAP

·         MySQL

·         LDAP

·         Documentation Tools, Visio, Word. Code Documentation skills.

·         Firm grasp of multi-threading techniques

·         Proficient in SQL (Oracle SQL, MySQL SQL, PL/SQL, and Data Modeling)

 

Qualifications Non-Technical:

·         Ability to learn and adapt to a fast paced changing, and challenging environment

·         Good project and time management skills.

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

·         Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure when necessary, especially when recovering from system failure or strict timelines. As well as being a very self-motivated, self-directed Team Player; able to work in a fast paced Software development environment.
