Position: Windows System Admin
Location: New York & Jersey City
Duration: 6+ Months
Excellent technical skills on the following technologies:
• Windows 10+ years
• Scripting 5+ years
• Active Directory 3+ years
· Individual must have an in-depth working knowledge of Windows operating systems, and Active Directory in an enterprise infrastructure.
· Candidate must have experience in automating administrative tasks using windows programming languages.
· The candidate will have the responsibility to implement and configure the servers
· Must be able to configure advanced parameters on windows systems (BIOS settings, advanced network and NIC settings…)
· Must be able to script in order to automate tasks
· Automate administrative tasks, document and hand off process to level 1/2 teams where applicable
· Work closely with clients and other teams (systems programmers, network team, application developers, etc) to define and resolve performance and/or capacity issues—helping to transform business requirements into reliable and resilient infrastructure. Facilitate collection of statistical data related performance and capacity monitoring as well as proactive failure management.
· Documentation
- Develop system documentation for new and existing systems
- Update existing document when system and components are updated change
Required/must have:
· Project Management - Client focused, able to work independently while interacting across different teams to accomplish projects and must be detail oriented
· Ability to interact with other business lines managers, technical staff and senior managers
· Excellent Documentation skills, especially in documenting technical procedures
· Must be a team player and client focused
· Must be able to multi-task between projects and be adaptable to his accommodate his client requests
