Senior Software Engineer in Test
As a master of Test Automation you are great at writing both integration and unit tests and can help developers to do this with you; and you can build out test frameworks when needed.
As an expert Tester you don't like having manual tests, but you're good at doing them when it's the best way to poke at something to find the bugs!
What You will Learn and Do
· Work closely with team members in an Agile engineering organization to plan, build and test high quality and high performance components of a REST API and other service pieces. · Help with the monitoring and alerting on a large scale service used around the clock by thousands of customers. · Identify and implement ways to minimize the need and time to manually execute regression tests - design, implement and/or adapt test frameworks to support the automation strategy · Work together with the whole project team to validate the quality of our releases. · Work with developers to identify root causes of issues and prevent recurrences of bugs - identify and recommend process improvements · Configure and maintain Linux, Windows and Macintosh based test systems · Team lead on some projects
