eGate/JCAPS Developer
Work Location : Sacramento , CA
Duration : 1 year+ Contract

Developer who knows eGate JCAPS -
We are implementing a new Ambulatory facility at Sutter.
We will need the below interfaces. All of these interface already exist at our other ambulatory sites so nothing is being done from scratch.
We to do gap analysis, add to existing configuration and eGate routes, testing, implementation and post implementation support.
Developer Scope of Work:
Analysis and / or Gap Analysis
Complete Gap Analysis of existing interfaces
End to End High Level Design
Work with analyst on HLD
Bring Requirements and HLD to Design Review Meetings
o Review and provide feedback HL7 Technical Specifications
As required by Sutter Heath
o Complete detail level design as required by Sutter Health
o Complete all documentation needed on the code
o Present code for code review
o Must follow all set coding standards defined by Sutter Health
o Must document code as required by Sutter Health
o Complete unit testing of code before transitioning to Analyst for start of unit testing
o Provide feedback on unit test scripts
o Participate in Unit Testing
o Fix reported defects as required by Sutter Health
o Complete Defect Management as required by Sutter Health
o Escalate issues and risks
o Propose solutions to the escalated issues and risks
o Work with Analyst in ensuring requirements and specifications are complete to start development
o Complete needed eGate, secure FTP and EMPI development as appropriate
Document as required by Sutter Health
o Fix and document defects identified during Integration Testing calls
Document as required by Sutter Health
o Complete cut over planning as required by Sutter Health
o Participate and document those sessions as required by Sutter Health
o Complete and document PROD implementation as required by Sutter Health
o Provide two week support post implementation and document as required by Sutter Health
o Transition interfaces to Interface Support Team and document as required by Sutter Health
o Must attend all identified project and technical meetings as required by Sutter Health
o Must document all project related activities as required by Sutter Health
o Must follow the predefined Software Development Life Cycle as required by Sutter Health
o Should need minimal supervision in managing deliverables
o Must report actual hours worked using Microsoft PWA
o Must work with Project Coordinator on deliverables, issues and risks
o This position will report up to the Development Manager

Sr. JCAPS Developer

JCAPS SR developer
- document all standards, product architecture, deployment processes, procedures, scripts, etc for new regional model
- train and mentor all staff ; work with them on any problems and identifying root cause solution
- handle SRE to JCAPS migrations where feasible

- backup / restore & DR strategies
- setup / configure JCAPS repository & subversion source code control system and document version mgmt policies / procedures
- development of automated monitors for all environments
