Our client, based in Orlando, FL, is looking to bring aboard a C#, ASP.NET Developer.

Microsoft Developer
Basic job description:
This person will use their skills in Web Development/Programming to maintain and create solutions for a variety of departments. The job requires both the technical talents of a web developer and the interpersonal skills to create the most useful interfaces to provide decisionable information for everyone from front line workers to executives.
Work will be done on Microsoft based platforms. The underlying databases will be Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Programs will use the Microsoft .Net foundation (C# ). Many of the delivery applications will be done through the collaboration portal of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) or a proprietary system for the main public web site.
Responsibilities:
• Builds and maintains software applications that provide solutions to domain needs.
• Except responsibility for the resolution of help desk tickets that require modification of custom web site code.
• Gather specification for the design and technical specification for enhancing current custom web site code.
• Builds user interface applications using various programming and scripting languages as the sole or a member of a team of web developers.
• Authors complex Web pages using C#, ASPX and SharePoint 2007.
• Collaborates with remote and off shore development team members
• Assists in project planning and Web site design for small projects, acting as a subject matter expert on all web related development and new technologies.
• Creates prototypes and functional specifications for software projects in a rapid prototype system of development.
• Meets with and provides information for business analyst, project management, database developer personnel on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines regarding Web based solutions that they are working on.
• Conducts Unit, integration, and other testing of solutions to ensure that code fits within the coding standards, solves the problem to the domains satisfaction, and does not create new problems within the systems they are working on.
Minimum Skills needed:
• Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.NET)
• Microsoft Office products
• Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Developer is desirable
• Web development, site building, interactive application building.
• Team work, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience in evaluating user requests
