Position: Sr. Java/J2EE Developer
Location: Orange County, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Position Overview Skills & Exp
Desired candidates will exhibit strong software development skills and demonstrate a solid understanding of the technologies and concepts listed below:
• Java/J2EE server-side development, including Spring MVC, Hibernate
• Web Technologies & markup languages such as HTML, CSS, XML
• Web UI development using JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, JSON
• BEA WebLogic, Web Services and SOAP
• J-Unit Testing and automation
• Agile development methodology experience is a plus
• Understanding of multi-tier system architectures (N-Tier)
• Strong SQL skills including
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Oracle is a plus
• 7 plus years' experience
• Any knowledge in .Net and SQL Server in addition to Java and Oracle is a big plus.
• The candidate will have prior lead development experience and prior experience
designing complete multi-tier solutions, i.e. architect level contribution.
• The candidate will need to be able to work directly with business users to gather
requirements, communicate status as well as report directly to project management.
• Communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills will be as important
to this role as the technical skills.
Position: Senior Programmer Analyst
Location: Orange County, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Skill Requirements:
5+ Years of enterprise development experience in the following areas and technologies:
- core Java/J2EE development
-Web Services, Hibernate, Spring Framework, JMS, Tag Library and XML
-Experience with Weblogic and Tomat
-General database knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server and related tools
-Experience using Eclipse IDE and ClearCase source control tool
-Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
-Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis
-Systems and partner integration experience
-Previous experience with implementing and integrating with packaged solution a plus.
-Knowledge of UML modeling a plus
-Prior experience using Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
-Flexibility to assume different roles as called for by project needs
-Experience with Informatica/ETL
Position: Application developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Looking for a senior developer with at least 4-6 years experience with full end-to-end web application development JAVA/JSP, STRUTS. Any large RDMS (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase), SQL, Javascript, DHTML, AJAX; UNIX commands and utilities, full SDLC). Fast learner and great problem solver. Excellent communication skills verbal and written, strong problem solving ability, above average database knowledge, excellent user interface design intuition and solid understanding of testing methodologies. Previous experience working in an investment bank NOT required. `
