Position: Datastage ETL Lead/Project Manager

Duration: 24 months+(very long term)

Location: Brooklyn, NY

 

F2F interview required.

 

* Certified Datastage professional a plus!

 

Work Schedule: 35-hr work week, 7-hr day (unpaid 1-hr lunch break)!

 

Under the direction of the Chief Data Architect, serves as ETL Manager with deep IBM Datastage expertise. Will lead the ETL solution and architecture and the ETL developers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

* Manage ETL developers in full SDLC development of ODS, Master Data, Data Warehouse

* Detail understanding of the architecture of the Datastage ETL solution

* Manage resource allocation, project timelines and reporting

* Ensure standards and best practices for the IBM Datastage are used

* Communicate and lead technical and solution review sessions with technical team and partner teams

 

Minimum Core Competencies REQUIRED:

 

* Must be proficient and have experience with IBM Datastage version 8

* Extensive experience leading and managing a Datastage ETL team

* Project planning and coordination of multiple projects

* Recent experience of ETL Architecture and ETL design experience

* Experience with data analysis, data integration, and database design and development

* Experience with developing and implementing ODS, data warehousing solutions or data migrations

* Knowledge of ETL concepts and with data flow diagrams or data flow designs
