NET Lead Software Engineer

Duration: 3-6 months

Rate: DOE all inc.

Job Duties:

•        Design, Develop, maintain and be accountable for coding enhancements to the Global eBusiness applications

•        Adhere and contribute to the advancement of development processes and SDLC

•        Lead technical design session and produce technical designs for code changes and enhancements

•        Leverage Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management tools to manage development processes

•        Troubleshoot and remediate defects

•        Collaborate, engage and grow our global delivery team

Education and Technical Expertise:

•        Bachelor or Master degree(s) in Computer Engineering or other Engineering discipline required.

•        At least 5-7 years progressive experience in a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst or Software Engineer roles and 2-3 years in a senior equivalent to these roles.

•        Mastery of the Microsoft technology stack including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2010, IIS, SQL and TFS.

•        Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and/or Commerce Server preferred

•        Experience leveraging web design techniques to maximize performance leveraging AJAX, JQuery, Client-site controls/markup, HTML5 or similar approaches

•        Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes such as defect tracking, automated build, requirements management, version control, continuous integration and related best practices.

•        Expertise in high availability Web ecommerce B2B applications

•        Familiarity with Endeca or equivalent Search technologies

•        Test Driven Development methodology background a plus

•        Thorough understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, switches, routers)

•        Experience with Virtualization, VDI and working with remote team members
