Java/J2EE with VMWare
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: Ongoing Longterm
Rate $45/hr
I have two hot openings for Java developers as per below. Two years' experience is fine. If they would have a basic understanding of VMWare and also decent scripting skills that would be perfect (Unix shell, Perl, Javascripting etc). H1B fine. Should be local in Bay area ideally.
Position objectives are:
• Develop highly scalable Cloud Middleware and Automation platform that interfaces with different subsystems.
• Design and develop functions to automate compute, network and storage components in a virtualized infrastructure.
• Work with various internal and external teams on defining a set of standard APIs for each application subsystem.
• Translate functional requirements into technical and API specifications.
• Develop programming interfaces for each API.
• Create development environment for efficient testing and integration.
• Provide support to production systems.
Required skills:
Looking for Strong Java Developers. Along with Java development knowledge, If the person has background on Systems (Unix or Windows), VMware Virtualization or HP Operations Orchestration (HP OO) would be a Big plus.
• 1+ years experience developing complex enterprise solutions
• Strong Experience in object oriented design and development skills in Java programming.
• Strong Experience in J2EE frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, DAO, EJB, JMS, MVC.
• Understanding of VMWare Virtualization technologies.
• Experience in HP Operations Orchestration (HP OO) or HP Server Automation (Opsware) is a plus.
• Experience in developing highly available (HA) and secured SOAP and RESTFul based web services using Spring Web Services and Apache Axis, with ESB technology experience such as Mule, ServiceMix a plus.
• Experience in data modeling, SQL development and performance tuning using Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, with large data experience a plus.
• Strong Experience in producing and automating reusable scripts and programs (PL/SQL, Java Script, Unix shell, PERL, etc.).
• Development experience in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment.
• Must be a team player, flexible, self-motivated and analytical with excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
