Performance Engineer
Description:
Provide support for projects to ensure performance and reliability targets are met through quality testing of highly complex and inter-related systems. The primary Reponsibilities of this role include:
*Working closely with the development technical leads to influence designs to improve performance and reliability and reduce resource consumption
*Interpreting business requirements to develop complex performance and load testing strategies, spanning multiple products and projects
*Consult with other teams and associates to evaluate test results to ensure that business requirements are validated during the certification cycle
*assist in trouble-shooting and identifying problems during certification testing
Required Skills:
*Demonstrable experience in the above areas
*Working knowledge and experience with testing application software using HP Loadrunner/Performance Center or similar performance/load testing tools
*Strong analytical skills
*Abiltiy to work independently, as well as, with other members of the team, on multiple projects, to ensure quality product delivery
*Ability to lead and direct others and participate as a subject matter expert
*Experience with large scale complex systems
*Should have at least 5 years of experience and possess a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of work (Comp. Science, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent working experience
