Position: Share Point Architect

Location: East Hanover, NJ

Duration: 6 months

Locals or nearby face to face after phone interview.

 

Duties: SharePoint architecture expertise required.

The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect SharePoint solutions by mapping client business processes to end-to-end technology solutions Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010.

Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.

In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.

Providing technical guidance and development techniques to other staff members within the organization on SharePoint Services and SharePoint 2010

Interacting with the development team to understand requirements and create design specs, develop the application, and implement new solutions

Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, ASP.NET) is required

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Services; Sharepoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2000/2005, Internet Information Server 6.0, Active Directory, Server farm design concepts, Windows networking principles

Extensive understanding of SOA, security, enterprise integration, and distributed computing concepts

Ability to analyze systems and to architect solutions with clear designs

Experience with server installation, performance tuning is valued
