Oracle Apps DBA and Migration Consultant
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Sacramento, CA


Mandatory Qualifications:

·         At least ten (10) years experience performing Database Administrator (DBA) work;

·         At least seven (7) years experience working with Oracle business applications and technologies (e.g., Oracle E-Business suite, Oracle Identity and Access Management, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA suite, etc.);

·         At least seven (7) years DBA experience with Oracle Database (DB),version 10g and version 11g;

·         At least five (5) years experience developing complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views;

·         At least five (5) years experience creating physical data models;

·         At least three (3) years experience designing Oracle DBs for high availability in a multiple datacenter environment and/or disaster recovery;

·         Experience designing Oracle DB and server structure, layout, and sizing of databases for both immediate and future requirements;

·         Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Oracle DB stored procedures;

and monitoring and fine tuning database performance for Oracle DBs and servers;

·         Experience planning, implementing, monitoring and performing database backup, recovery, testing, archiving, purging, and logging for Oracle DBs and servers;

·         Experience maintaining Oracle DBs and servers to support service level agreements with requirements for up-time, backup frequency, and storage growth (e.g., table space, extents, file systems, archives,redo, temp, rbs, etc.);

·         Experience performing database upgrades and patching for Oracle DBs and servers; and
Experience producing requirements document, data model, database design, configuration management document, and procedural manuals.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

·         Possession of Oracle DBA certification(s);

·         Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts with demonstrated experience building dimensions and fact tables models;

·         Data modeling and managing expertise in an enterprise OLAP/OLTP environment;

·         Experience performing database design, development, and administration services in a lead capacity;

·         Experience deploying enterprise technology solutions within a health care and/or correctional environment;

·         Experience analyzing business requirements to define requirements for solution capabilities;

·         Strong analytical skills to assess current application and database architecture, identifying improvement opportunities;
