The GHCO Senior Engineer role requires advanced to mastery skills that enable the individual to deliver a high level of service and to meet the expectation from the business of a highly available agile infrastructure.  Advanced to mastery knowledge of Core, Specialized and technical competencies is required, along with a very solid understanding of an enterprise IT infrastructure operational environment, adhering to industry best practice.

 

 As a member of the Enterprise Administrators group, the role is highly visible to all firms within XX and as such requires a highly developed ability to communicate effectively with other skilled engineers globally. The role requires a strong understanding and background of working with a complex Active Directory infrastructure and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures and processes.  Strong operational background in Exchange Server (minimum version Exchange 2007) in a large infrastructure is also required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 Primary responsibilities include:

·         24x365 enterprise infrastructure operations and management

·         Proactive problem resolution

·         Management and operation of global Active Directory covering multiple forests and domains

·         Management and operation of global messaging and unified communications tools

·         Performing tasks that require Enterprise Administrator security level to forests

·         Fourth level support to the Operations Groups

·         Assist in the testing of new technologies, design and implement of Global AD, Exchange and OCS/Lync Infrastructure

·         Assitance with integration and strategic direction of systems with AD, Exchange and OCS/Lync

·         Support Microsoft AD ancilliary Services: Certificate Authority Services, Rights Management, ADFS, LiveMeeting Portal, Key Management Service, Windows Terminal Services Licensing Server

·         Install, maintain and support AD Provisioning systems (Courion)

·         Scripting and Powershell development and support

·         Limited Support of the Lotus Notes environment
