Title: Senior Websphere Commerce Developer
Location: Jacksonville FL
Duration: 12 Months
*SR WEBSPHERE COMMERCE DEVELOPER**
Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products
*Development experience in B2C sites
*Write code for system designs that span platforms
*Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
*Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs
*Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points
*Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects
*Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications
*Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle
*Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach
*Review vendor research and gap analysis, make vendor recommendation to technical team and client Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience
*3+ years experience in architect/solution designing, developing and delivering custom application development solutions for clients
*4+ years hands on experience in IBM Websphere Commerce and object oriented technologies
*4+ years experience using IBM products such as WebSphere Application Studio, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal, DB2
*4+ years experience in establishing and managing development standards
*4+ years experience in working within a strong development methodology
*3+ years experience as the lead architect or development team lead working on complex projects
*B2B experience, extended site knowledge would be a plus
*3+ years experience integrating WebSphere Commerce to back-end systems (using REST services is preferable).
* 4+ years experience using WebSphere LTPA SSO, Spring MVC Framework (Struts, Spring), XML, HTML, JQuery, Java script, SQL, WAS, Ajax, Apache STRUTS, ATOM
*Solid experience in SOA design and development
*Excellent communications and documentation skills
*Integrated a medium to large scale commerce application with different procurement vendors and payment gateways.
*Strong development experience utilizing Java, J2EE, JQuery, or GWT on Linux Business Specific Criteria (Preferred):
*Healthcare Industry knowledge
*Experience with Visio *Experience with RUP methodology and rational tools
*Experienced applying J2EE security, Concurrency, Transactions, Session Management, J2EE Patterns, and Frameworks to application solutions.
