SAP HCM Functional/Lead

Description:

We are looking for a more strategic candidate, someone who has leadership experience (team lead/project lead) or has a desire to be a lead.

We are looking for an SAP heads down configurator and also someone that can manage issues.

We are looking for SAP HCM Module Expert.

This position is responsible for providing first line functional and configuration support for SAP HCM modules with a primary focus in Benefits. 

 

Responsibilities:

Configuration, evaluation, review, testing and implementation of new functionality, reports and/or interfaces to support business requirements and system upgrades

Applicants must have the ability to act as a direct liaison with the HR business; SAP teams and the IT organization to ensure system requirements, deadlines and priorities are clearly defined and achieved.

 

Skills:

It is preferred that candidates have a broad knowledge of SAP HCM modules, including hands-on SAP configuration for an HCM module.

Experience must include requirements gathering, functional testing, and documentation. 

Working knowledge of ABAP is a plus.

Experience leading a group, team or project, or willingness to lead projects etc.. is required.

Ability to perform detailed analysis of user requests, identified problems and SAP delivered software changes to determine impact and recommended steps for resolution and/or implementation. 

This position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to make timely and sound decisions based on logical assumptions, factual information or strong intuition.

Candidate must have the ability to effectively work in a collaborative team environment along with the commitment to the overall success of a group.

Focus on meeting and/or exceeding end users expectations for delivering IT customer service.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or assignments including the ability to organize, plan and lead projects to a successful completion are required.

The desire to work successfully with 3rd party vendors to support business activities and act as the liaison with the SAP Technical team to troubleshoot, correct or enhance vendor interfaces.

 

Qualifications:

A Bachelors Degree is desired.
