Hi,

 

Client is looking for a Java mainframe developer for a  6+ months / multi-year project in Franklin Lakes, NJ.

 

Requirement:

 

The big key is CICS AND JAVA expertise, preferably Java CICS (JCICS). Please do not send someone with only one of the skills!

Could use somebody who is proficient at configuration and performance issues with CICS->JVM (java virtual machine)

The initial contract is for 6+ months, with many years possible upon success.

Client is taking legacy system (COBOL, CICS mainframe based) and porting to modern OO system (Java, Java CICS, XA Transactions).

Assembler knowledge may be helpful.
