J2EE Architect

Work Location: Omaha, NE
Duration : 1 year+

Rate : Market

 

1.         Evaluate proposed industry standards for suitability relative to function, interoperability, and Client's purpose.  Standards artifacts include:

a.         Requirements

b.         Architecture

c.         Design

d.         Test plans, test cases, and test results

2.         Participate in the development of  Client's PTC related system development

a.         POC oversight

b.         Participate in the development or evaluation (of 3rd party) of the following artifacts:

i.          Requirements

ii.         Architecture

iii.        System design

iv.        Test plans, test cases, and test results

c.         Serve as technical lead / oversight of development activities including:

i.          Software development

ii.         Testing

iii.        Key skill set

1.         Understanding of full system development life cycle, various activities and artifacts involved in each phase, and their interrelationships

2.         Systems engineering experience especially dealing with the areas of architecture, performance,  availability, and risk analysis and mitigation

3.         Understanding of interoperability; definition, levels and methods of interoperability, and common issues dealing with interoperability

4.         Understanding of protocol stacks

5.         Excellent written and verbal communications skills

6.         Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools including Visio

7.         Ability to work independently and multitask
