My Client is looking for a Sr. .Net Developer – Baltimore, MD. This is a 10+ months contract and the hourly rate is DOE.

 

Job Description:

 

·         Proficient in .Net development - VB.NET, Visual Studio 2005; Experience in SQL Server Database; Data Warehousing Concepts.

·         Work experience in retirement and pension applications is preferred.

·         General Experience: Must have eight (8) years of programming experience in

·         IT software development / maintenance.

 

Technical Skills:

 

   - Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, specifically with VB.NET

   - Experience in Visual Studio 2005/2008 using VB.NET and ASP.NET

   - Experience in SQL Server 2005, Transact-SQL, stored procedures

   - IBM's ILOG web service

   - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Team Leads / Lead

   - Developers to review business/technical requirements (Required)

   - Provide support / guidance to the development teams during the design,

   development, and testing processes

 

Additional Desired Skills:

 

   - Strong analytical, organizational and hands-on problem solving skills

   - Data Modeling skills

   - Microsoft BizTalk

   - Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools - (SQL Server Integration Services) SSIS, (SQL Server Analysis Services) SSAS, (SQL Server Reporting Services) SSRS

   - Familiarity with Data Warehousing Concepts

   - Excellent communication skills

   - Thorough understanding of iterative and full lifecycle software development methods
