Position: SAP Test Manager
Location: NJ
Duration: 6+ months
QA manager with >10 years experience in the field and especially in the SAP testing area (min. 5 years).
Responsibilities:
Manage QA testing for multiple projects/products concurrently
QA Team Management
· Manage multiple teams of KPMG Quality Assurance Professionals (includes consultants,
· onsite/offsite/offshore)
· Define goals for the team & conduct personal management of the team
· Recruit and develop qualified professionals
· Establish standards of measure for the performance of the team
· Coordinate the allocation of QA resources across multiple projects
Project Management
· Provide senior management with regular updates of testing status
· Work closely with Business QA resources and all other pertinent project team resources
· Consult with project team to define and implement quality goals
· Provide clear deliverables to ensure the execution of best practices within all projects
· Manage defect tracking process, defect reporting, and dissemination of QA information
· Understand the business impact (technical/non-technical) to member firms/end-users and ensure testing addresses thoseimpacts
Manage ongoing processes to achieve high quality products, including but not limited to the following:
· User acceptance testing
· Country testing
· Business testing
· Functional, installer, and regression testing
· Specify information required from users to determine application effectiveness
· Performance testing
· Defect reporting
· Thorough documentation (i.e. test scripts, test plans, test results)
· Manage the QA budget and ensure QA projects are operating efficiently
· Identify ways to perform testing at lower costs without sacrificing quality
Manage testing tools used in the testing process
· Implement SAP testing methodology within KPMG leveraging testing best practices
· Design and implement the use of HP Quality Center in KPMG as the preferred testing tool for all projects not just SAP related projects
· Ensure all project team members (business analysts, developers and testers) understand the product and how to use it appropriately on the project
