Pega Developer
Location: Woodland Hills, CA.
Duration: 3 months, will get extended.
We have 4 Pega Developer openings right now. We need 2 Lead Systems Architect (LSA) certified Developers and 2 regular developers (any pega certifications are preferred). Please send resume, rate, contact information and location.
Senior Pega Developers /Architects to design, program and provide support for a Pegasystems based application. The candidate will be working with Agile methodology to build the solution. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience designing and developing solutions in PEGA.
Must hold Pega LSA certification.
Essential Job Functions
- Codes, tests, documents and implements programs according to the specifications provided.
- Provide the business units and the data processing management/staff with comprehensive consultation on all phases of the project development cycle.
- Work closely with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems' design.
- Perform analysis and system design.
- Code new or modified programs, reuse existing code through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrate purchased solutions.
- Document, test, implement and provide on-going support for the applications.
- Provide highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies, which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.
- Act as an expert technical resource to development staffs in all phases of the development and implementation process.
- Provides moderately complex to complex technical and production support to end-users.
- Participates in and conducts peer reviews as needed.
- Participates in creating unit and other test plans for assigned programming tasks.
- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Assists with analyzing and writing program specifications.
- Assists in designing new programs of routine complexity and for basic enhancements to existing programs.
- Recommends changes to client software based on information such as client feedback, language changes and new technology.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years experiencedesigning and developing solutions in PEGA
- Strong experience with PEGA PRPC, CPM and other frameworks
- Sixor more years of programming or application development experience
- Should have a command on PEGA concepts and should be able to articulate solutions to problems
- PEGA certified (preferably for PRPC 5.5) a Huge Plus
Other Qualifications
- Good programming skills
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
- Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Basic leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
