Rates - $40/hr

 

·         5+ years of technical leadership building secure, scalable, stable and manageable Internet systems with Microsoft server technologies and related 3rd party solutions

·         5+ years of performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem management experience for client/server architectures

·         8+ years working with Microsoft server technologies, data center operations, server hardware, and software solutions

·         3+ years' experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g. PowerShell, VBScript, Jscript, C#, C++, etc.)

·         Passion for building extremely scalable, high performing and manageable internet systems.

·         Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting and site management for client/server architectures, particularly in Windows Server 2008, IIS 7+, Hyper-V and troubleshooting tools such as LogParser, Netmon, HTTPWatch, WinDBG.

·         Deep technical skills in IIS 6, 7 and higher, ASP.NET 3.x and later, Windows Server 2008, Hyper-V and other virtualization technologies, Application Request Routing (ARR), DNS and networking protocols.

·         Ability to lead architectural & design discussions targeting high availability, scalability and performance.

·         Working knowledge local Load Balancing technologies such as WLBS/NetScalers/Big IP and global load balancing technologies such as: FirstPoint and ITM.

·         Familiarity with Content Delivery Network (CDN) technologies.

·         Ability to guide application teams towards instrumenting better monitoring into solutions.

·         Working knowledge of various monitoring technologies tools such as: SCOM, Keynote & SiteScope.

·         Passion for engineering solutions towards no-downtime deployments.
