Requirements:
¨ 5+ years of experience creating & executing Load & Performance tests & creating custom functions as needed
¨ Candidates MUST HAVE SOLID HP Performance Center / Mercury LoadRunner skills.
¨ Experience in a leadership role of an Engineering group, development group or project team with sound decision-making skills.
¨ Strong knowledge of MS Windows and UNIX.
¨ Database testing knowledge, especially Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
Position Description:
This position is responsible for planning, creating, maintaining, and reviewing test automation; and assisting management with: making improvements; influencing technical strategy, goals and practices. This position will support Test Automation activities for HCSC software applications. It will create acceptable quality automated tests to eliminate repeated manual testing and maintenance of regression test beds. This position would also increase technical direction and skills of the system testing team. Automated, repeatable test suites also provide traceability and additional audit ability for SOX compliance.
¨ Plan, create, maintain and review Load and Performance tests.
¨ Ability to analyze system monitoring reports from remote servers (DB servers, Application servers, and web servers)
¨ Solid understanding of networking, architecture, and protocols
¨ Analyze output generated from automated tests (including Performance and Load Testing).
¨ Monitor testing tools' backend systems performance metrics to ensure optimization.
¨ Provide technical support to help resolve testing customers' product-related problems/issues.
¨ Serve as a technical expert resolving critical and complex issues.
¨ Provide technical direction and expertise to testing groups and/or departments.
¨ Find solutions and initiate testing changes proactively in a proactive manner.
¨ Organize testing projects and guide the direction of multiple-person projects.
¨ Act as a technical leader within the team and serve as an SME and mentor.
¨ Apply knowledge to multiple areas of the products and functional teams.
¨ Produce strategies to address product and/or process requirements.
¨ Assemble, motivate, and mentor effective teams.
¨ Facilitate cooperative work among teams.
¨ Take proactive leadership in guiding the direction of the organization and in making improvements in the organization.
¨ Influence technical strategy, goals, and practices for the department.
¨ Ensure product adherence to Enterprise product adoption standards.
Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
