Role 1: Network Engineer

Desirable Requirements:
· 10+ years of IT operations experience.
· Excellent skills and experience in Cisco switch+router configuration, routing protocols, virtual routing and forwarding
· Full understanding of advance configuration of Cisco switches and routers
· Full understanding of VLAN and guidelines for configuring VLAN
· Full understanding of various IP networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and IP Multicast
· Strong knowledge and advanced network certifications from Cisco and leading Networking Vendors
· 7+ years progressive experience supporting mid to large scale datacenters or enterprise environments.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to grasp new technical concepts and learn and apply new skills quickly.
· Strong project management skills in leading engineering initiatives.
· Demonstrated communication skills in working with both functional and technical teams at various levels in the business.
· Strong architecture and technical support documentation skills.
· Self motivated and directed.
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Strong ability working with diverse technologies
· Experience in developing strategic system architecture plans.
· Experience in systems, network and data center design and development.
· Technical facility design and implementation experience
· Strong team player who is able to collaborate with colleagues on complex tasks and can use influence to achieve the required results
· Full understanding of network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; industry and leading standards

Role 2.Network Engineer (Firewall)
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: Long Term
Visa: Citizens
Desirable Requirements:
· 7+ years of IT operations experience in very large enterprise network environments.
· Excellent skills and experience in Cisco firewall configuration and IP protocol expertise
· Provide leadership for the planning, supporting and problem-solving for the project's firewall environment.
· Responsible for the planning and migration of connectivity from current data center firewalls to co-lo firewalls
· Strong knowledge and advanced network certifications from Cisco and leading Networking Vendors
· Certifications: CCSP/CCNP/CISSP preferred
· Strong change management and documentation skills to track security changes, configurations and policies.
· Full understanding of general networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, BIND)
· Understanding of general security principals is required, such as PKI Encryption, anti-malware and endpoint protection
· Proficient in Cisco ASA firewalls
· Practiced troubleshooting and problem analysis of firewalls.
· Demonstrated experience in management of Cisco LAN/WAN and Routing protocols (BGP,EIGRP,RIP, etc.)
· Demonstrated knowledge networks (LAN/WAN/DNS/VPN/ Sniffer) Extensive problem solving skills.
· 5+ years progressive experience supporting mid to large scale datacenters or enterprise environments.
· Manage and support all firewall connections.
· Proficient in building and creating firewall rules and policies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to grasp new technical concepts and learn and apply new skills quickly.
· Strong project management skills in leading engineering initiatives.
· Demonstrated communication skills in working with both functional and technical teams at various levels in the business.
· Translate highly technical ideas/principles into comprehensive/descriptive business language for peer groups to effectively assist/resolve issues
· Strong architecture and technical support documentation skills.
· Self motivated and directed.
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Strong ability working with diverse technologies
· Experience in developing strategic system architecture plans.
