Hi,
Client is looking for Project Manager - Warrenville, IL. This is a 12 months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
- 8+ years in IT with at least 5 years of project management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Ability to work within tight timelines
- Ability to manage matrixed resources
- Effectively manage work effort against schedule and budget
- Communicate to project stakeholders, including executive management team
Secondary Skills:
- Bi-lingual (Sanish) a plus, but not required
- PMP certification a plus, but not required
Duties:
- Delivers projects by leading and coordinating the project lifecycle.
- Manages the gathering of project requirements with project stakeholders including definition of scope, timeline for project deliverables and necessary resources.
- Defines and maintains work breakdown structure and project plan.
- Assigns and monitors project deliverables with assigned team.
- Prepares standard and ad hoc management reports and presentations to assess and communicate project progress and metrics.
- Assures the attainment of high quality results as scheduled and within budget.
- Participates in Risk and Budget Planning
- Acts as a liaison between team, technical resources, sponsors and functional managers.
- Negotiates resource commitment with IT group leaders, functional business unit stakeholders, and material suppliers as needed.
- Facilitates technical and analytical gaps with project team.
- May lead cross-functional linked teams to ensure project deliverables are met

- 8+ years in IT with at least 5 years of project management experience
