Hi,
Client is looking for a Web Designer - Cleveland, OH. This is a 8+ months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
Job Description :
SUMMARY: Designs and develops the creative aesthetics, visual interpretation, user experience and technical requirements for brand in the digital media environment.
TASKS: Providing ongoing maintenance and design direction; Designs visual user interfaces, website functionality, implements front end coding, coordinates audio voice-over and sound components and develops digital media content for the internet and mobile environments, ad campaigns, promos, newsletters and social expression products
Helps to evaluate implications of functionality and user interface changes – works with digital media business partners to design and implement online user experiences
Required Skills :
§ EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE: Bachelors
§ Degree in graphic design desired with an emphasis on web design curriculum and experience; Flash animation skills required;
§ A minimum of 3 years of experience in flash animation, programming and development for the internet; expertise in Action-scripting (components, functions, arrays, XML integration, etc);
§ Knowledge of action-scripting (components, functions, arrays, XML integration, etc.)
§ Strong sense of both static and motion design;
§ Technical Competencies Required: Knowledge and skill using the following software tools: Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Freehand, Strong working Internet knowledge (including most common web graphic file formats), Knowledge of simple HTML coding, CSS, JavaScript and DHTML;
§ Proven experience designing and programming web pages and other digital content (making the screen look VERY pleasing to the eye) along with an understanding of design for the juvenile and teen audiences is required;
§ Must be able to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced environment, while coordinating the efforts of variable resource staff;
§ Must work well in a team environment.
