This position is needed for supporting the project "2011 NP002 Customer eService Enhancements" in FEPOC. The mission for this project is to design & develop Enrollment reusable Web services. The project will involve broad Java/J2EE technologies, including Web Services, framework & service integration.

Tasks:

Perform full life-cycle activities in support of Enrollment Services which will include:

Work with Business area to discuss the requirements

Work with enterprise architect to provide system architecture design documentation

Drive the detail technical design

Assistant project and development managers to define the scope and develop plan for the project deliverables

Accountable for meeting the milestones set for the project

Conduct code review, unit testing and integration testing

Document system design, development and Unit testing, and transfer maintenance work to FEPOC internal staff

Skills – Java/J2EE technical leader:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Required: This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience and 8+ years of industry experience developing in object-oriented in object-oriented programming language. Specific requirements include, but not limited to:

Strong technical leadership skill
Knowledge of software development best practices (RUP, XP, Agile)
Excellent experience with object oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology
Minimum of 3+ years in extensive hands on experience with Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, JDBC, Hibernate, JMX, JMS, Log4J, AJAX, JSF.
