1. Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients (10%)

· For major or minor enhancement projects End-users directly communicate with the respective Systems development teams. · Estimate & schedule for various development tasks: Preparing technical specifications, Coding & Unit testing.

· Work with QA & UAT testers to get their input on QA & UAT testing efforts and schedule.

· Work with Release management team and End users to finalize a production implementation schedule. Record the schedule and efforts in Service Center.

3. Prepare Technical Specifications, Test Cases (20%)

· With the Requirements/Functional specification document as input prepare Technical specification, Unit test cases, Traceability matrix, Implementation plan and any other relevant documents for the project within the scheduled time and effort.

· Peer review Technical specification, Unit test cases, Traceability matrix.

4. Coding using COBOL/400/ILE, ILE RPG, CLLE (20%)

· As per the Technical specification create or modify the source codes for the programs, reports, jobs, tables and all other kind of related system objects.

5. Unit Testing (20%)

· Create Unit testing environment and data.

· Test the changes by executing all the Unit test cases.

· Fix things which fail unit test cases.

· Record the Unit testing results in Quality Center.

6. QA, UAT testing support (10%)

· Promote the system changes into QA and UAT region as per the schedule.

· Fix things which fail in those regions and re-promote them.

7. Implementation & Post-Implementation support (10%)

· Monitor Support and Validate system implementation activities.

· Communicate implementation report to all stake holders.

· Support Post-implementation validation and warranty.

· In Warranty period support and implement solutions for production defects if any.

8. Documentation – Reports and Reviews. (5%)

· Prepare and update membership systems documents and upload them to systems knowledge repository.

· Identify existing performance and stability issues and their root causes within the Membership systems.

· Work with the client in proposing solutions for the overall stability of the applications.
