Our client

has a large off-shore multi-million dollar project. Need a technical architect/technical lead to look into what is happening with the project which is having delivery and deadline problems, perhaps more.. Person should be capable of peering at the code, reviewing the application design and looking at project plans to make an assessment. Person will remain with HBG through project delivery (end of July if on time) and beyond into production...

Application is developed in Oracle Forms - must have this experience, though if the Forms is old and Oracle more current it is OK...

· The ideal candidate will have excellent coding, communication and problem-solving skills.

· Additionally, individuals must have experience working in a large team environment as an individual contributor to a software solution that is utilized by 10,000+ associates.

· Candidate will be responsible for collaborating with team members across IT and Business channels to design and develop the gift card enhancements.

· Individuals must have experience executing detailed designs and coordinating project implementation of distributed applications for users in the United States.

· Candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and should have proven experience developing and releasing software and services in a team-based environment.

Technical Expertise required:

v 2+ year's solid object-oriented and client/server design and development experience including experience with complex desktop applications.

v Must have experience with XML based protocols

v Experience developing software using .NET is required

v Must have experience in VB and COM software development

v Recommend experience with UML and pattern-based design

v Recommend experience with C++

v Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills are required.

v Excellent organizational, problem-solving, coding, unit testing and debugging skills

v Solid verbal and written communication skills
